Stuart, sorry we had drifted after you moved to Thailand. You were a big influence on my career as a young dentist and somebody I looked up to. You were questioning, talented, pioneering and way ahead of your time and a terrific dentist. As a person and a friend you were gentle, kind, generous and a great listener. We shared holidays together often skiing, playing golf and tennis and enjoyed so many amusing experiences. One dental trip to Gothenburg to listen to two of the world’s leading professors of dentistry comes to mind. They asked if anybody played tennis and we accepted their challenge. Little did we know, at their advanced ages, how good they were. We were beaten two sets to love and I don’t remember us scoring a point, but we sure had a laugh!
